Guuguubarra.
Kookaburras are kingfishers and the Wiradjuri name is guuguubarra. Here one from the backyard patrolling the creek for lizards or snakes.

QLD 40c then a Refreshing Thunderstorm
Typical of SE Queenslands summer routine we had a beautiful sunny humid 40c with lots of good food and beer then relaxed on the back deck and watched a big thundering storm with all the lightshow drop buckets of rain refreshing the lush rainforest and recharging the creeks and waterfalls. Ahhh QLD beautiful one day . . . Perfect the next . . .
