Wakool

Images from an overnight camp and fishing trip to the Wakool River in the Whymoul State Forest in NSW just above Barham / Koondrrok on the Murray. This area has a few rivers that form the basis of a major native fish nursery for the Murray River Basin, with major fish holding water like the Wakool River, Murrumbidgee River, Edward River and Billabong Creek all running in a generally South West direction in the region of bordered by Hay, Deneliquin, Balaranarld in the North and the Murray River from Echuca to Robinvale in the South.
